This event will host a cozy panel discussion on the topic “Bollywood Vs Culture”, exploring how Bollywood influences culture, identity, and life across South Asia. It’s a unique opportunity to dive deep into one of the most fascinating intersections of film and everyday life.

Here’s the evening plan:

  1. Bollywood Quiz: Kick off the night with a fun Bollywood quiz! Test your Bollywood knowledge and stand a chance to win exciting prizes!

  2. Film Screening:
    We’ll be showing the documentary “Still Rolling: The DDLJ Story”, directed by Natasja Rathode. The film traces the magical journey of Bollywood's longest-running movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (DDLJ), taking us from London’s vibrant streets to Switzerland’s scenic landscapes, and finally to the heart of Bollywood. You’ll meet Bollywood experts, die-hard fans, and real-life characters who unravel the mystery behind the film’s extraordinary 1000+ week run at the box office. 🎥

  3. Panel Discussion:
    After the documentary, we will host a dynamic discussion with our panelists on "Bollywood Vs Culture". We’ll delve into the impact Bollywood has had on shaping cultural narratives in South Asia, from fashion and music to societal norms and personal identity.
