OUR PAST EVENTS

In February, we launched our event series, Mushayra, which celebrates the art of poetry. Mushayra, originating from Urdu, is a poetic symposium where poets come together to share their works in a gathering known as a mehfil or Mushairi.

‘Mushayra at the Park’, a night of inspirational poetry and soulful music hosted by Lost In Immigration Society. Presented in scenic Moberly Park, this event will feature a captivating Sitar recital by Prashant Shashikumar, an Indo-Canadian sitar maestro based in Vancouver. Description goes here
